Director of Business Development
Hoda Elamir, Esq. is the daughter of hardworking immigrants from Cairo, Egypt that came to the United States for a chance at a better life. Coming from very humble beginnings, she watched her father rise to prominence and become a successful physician in the United States. Her mother raised Hoda and her siblings with a sense of hard work, humility, and compassion - true immigrant values. Her family experience inspired her to become an immigration attorney.
Today, Hoda is dedicated to her clients and building business relationships.
Since becoming an immigration attorney, Hoda has focused on employment-based petitions, including O, E, L and H-1B Visas. She also has experience in family-based petitions, removal defense, and asylum work.
In addition, Hoda is the head of business development at J&K Law. She is committed to the firm and works on creating new strategies and opportunities to engage clients, investors, publications and organizations. Hoda also cultivates partnerships and identifies new markets for our services.
Prior to joining J&K Law, Hoda worked at the United Nations and large international law firms both in the United States and Europe. She received her B.A. from Rutgers University, where she majored in Political Science and Journalism and graduated magna cum laude. She received her J.D. from Pace University School of Law in New York, where she concentrated in international law and was a member of the International Law Society.
Hoda is licensed to practice in New York and New Jersey and is a member of the New York State Bar Association. Hoda speaks Arabic and Spanish.
